What is sous vide cooking?

Sous vide (pronounced “soo veed”) is a cooking method that involves submerging vacuum sealed food into a low temperature water bath to be cooked. The impressive thing about this cooking technique is that you are able to achieve consistently “perfect” results. This is largely due to the ability to control the temperature of the water with extreme accuracy.
